Our commitment

We first became aware of Bridge2Aid and their work whilst we were researching dental-related volunteer projects worldwide. They immediately stood out as a charity we would like to support and, with encouragement from our staff at all levels, we contacted Bridge2Aid to get involved.

After meeting with some of the Bridge2Aid team at last year’s BDTA Showcase in Birmingham, we realised how proud they were of their work and the improvements they were helping to make for the Tanzanian community. We walked away feeling inspired by their determination and extremely motivated to help them as much as we possibly could.

Four months later, five members of the Practice Plan team, including Steve Turnock, Managing Director, flew to Tanzania to see and experience first-hand the programmes Bridge2Aid have put in place. We now plan to take a team of 16 staff, customers and suppliers over later this year to help work on one of the projects and make a strong commitment to fundraising for Bridge2Aid in the UK.
