Fiona Stuart-Wilson and John Shepherd will deliver content designed to help you understand the role of the practice manager and help you discover new skills that will improve your performance over the course of three focused workshops, which can be used to gain the Practice Managers (ILM) level 5 in Management.Workshop 2 of 3
Avoid common traps and establish effective systems to make sure that you attract and recruit the right people for your practice.
Learning outcomes:
- Write effective job descriptions and person specifications for roles in the practice
- Understand how to create effective advertisements which attract candidates
- Conduct fair and legal interviews using effective questioning techniques
- Determine the suitability of candidates/compare candidates
- Implement a simple but effective recruitment and selection process in your practice
- Understand the legal and ethical framework for effective recruitment and selection.
Each event will cost £200 and only £120 for Practice Plan and Business of Dentistry (BoD) members.
This is a full day event from 9.00am - 4.30pm, which entitles you to 5 hours of verifiable CPD.
