How does practiceplan work?
Initial visit
We will visit you to discuss the needs of both you and your patients, and establish
how a dental plan can be incorporated into your practice. We will undertake a financial
review to establish your requirements in terms of hourly rate, type and number of
plans, discounts, fees etc.
Types of plan

Whilst every plan is different depending on the practice needs, typical plans we
currently provide are:
- Adult plans and children’s plans– these plans could incorporate 2 check-ups, 2
hygiene visits, plus a 20% discount on most treatments.
- Annual adult plans, with
1 check-up and 1 hygiene visit are also becoming popular.
- Registration and Insurance Scheme – this plan is designed to provide a registration
system for private patients who pay on a fee-per-item basis.
Insurance is included with all plans, providing cover for Worldwide Trauma and Emergency Call out,
to give you and your patients peace of mind. We are fully authorised and regulated
by the Financial Services Authority for the conduct of mediation activities.

Design
We will work with you to design your own full colour brochure, with your practice identity. We can assist in refreshing your current image, or we can work with you
to create a new image for you – whatever you need, we can help you.
Training and marketing
We will support your practice team by training them to introduce the plan to your patients.
Together with the training, we will provide all marketing materials necessary to
promote your plan.
On going administration
We will collect the subscriptions from your patients on your behalf on the 8th of each
month, and remit the money to you on 18th, together with a fully detailed statement.
Support
We will support you by writing to your patients (on your headed paper), handling
all the administration and helping to take the pressure off your practice team.
It is critical that when the plan is launched you have all the support you need.
Our Customer Services team will be ready to take your enquiries, and our Practice
Development Manager will be with you, at the practice, to support you and your patients.
The team at
practiceplan
is always available for continuous support, further training and advice. Our UK-wide
network of Practice Development Managers provides local support. Together, we can
help you to promote your plan in your area.
