Embracing the Human Factors of Mental Wellbeing

If you’re looking to grow your knowledge on mental health both inside and outside of the practice, then this is your chance!

Event Information

Mental health has been a talking point in the dental industry for many years and is a focus for this year’s Dentistry Confidence Monitor - with 51% of private dentists saying that their current role has negatively affected their mental health and 72% saying that they were unconfident about which organisation to turn to if they were feeling overly stressed or worried about their mental health.

Join Beverly Sherratt and Polly Brennan for this event, where they'll help you to gain a better under-standing of mental health and how to support your employees in your practice. Polly and Beverly will explain the importance of building an open culture about mental health in your dental practice, how to have supportive conversations with your employees, and how to build your own mental health resilience, both professionally and privately.

 Learning outcomes:

  • Learn how to recognise the signs of stress
  • Discover how to build a culture of mental wellness
  • Learn how to start the mental health conversation
  • Discover practical tips and examples of building resilience
  • Achieve Development Outcomes A & B.

This event takes place on the following date and will provide you with three hours of verifiable CPD:

- Solihull on Thursday 23rd January 2020, from 2.00 pm - 5.15 pm

*This event is exclusive to Practice Plan and Medenta members*
