The mental health and wellbeing of you and your colleagues has never been so important. We’ve teamed up with Andy Elwood, a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, to give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
The Mental Health First Aid course with Andy Elwood will support you as an individual, as well as enabling you to strengthen and support your team and help you to build a better way forward when it comes to mental health and wellbeing.
By becoming a Mental Health First Aider, you will have:
- an understanding of mental health and wellbeing
- practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues with your team
- the confidence to step in, listen, measure and support colleagues
- the knowledge to promote recovery and provide guidance on how to get further support
- an understanding of the stigma that exists around mental health.
“This course is something special. I now have the confidence to support my team and encourage a positive environment at our practice”.
Helen Bodsworth, Practice Manager, Dentistry at the Gallery.
