Taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week, this inspiring lunchtime webinar with expert Andy Elwood will help you build a positive mental health culture in your dental practice.
Webinar details
Focusing on mental wellbeing can often feel like an optional extra – something to squeeze in when time allows. But in the high-pressure world of dentistry, looking after your own mental health and that of your team isn’t a luxury, it’s essential.
Just like putting on your own oxygen mask first, prioritising your wellbeing means you’re in a better position to support others, especially if you’re a leader or have responsibility for your team. Andy will talk about how to identify your own needs first, before sharing strategies and tools to help foster a safe, open, and positive environment where your team feel empowered to talk about mental health.
Why you should tune in…
- Learn how to identify your own wellbeing needs and develop ways to be your own best friend
- Discover language that helps to normalise conversations around mental health, making it easier to talk openly and supportively with your team
- Understand how to effectively use a check-in tool to help people that may need support
- Uncover how to listen with empathy and build trust within your practice
- Hear where to find reliable sources of help for mental wellbeing
- Gain 45 minutes of CPD and achieve development outcomes A & B.
