Watch this on-demand recording of Zoe Close in conversation with Sarah Buxton and Thomas Coates, as they discuss the essential legal information you need to know when considering handing back your NHS dental contract.

About the webinar:

With many dentists and the wider dental team feeling dissatisfied with NHS dentistry, an increasing number of dental professionals are considering making the move from NHS to private dentistry. It’s a big decision, and one that needs careful consideration to make sure you feel informed and comfortable with each step of the process, including the legal implications.

In this recording of a live webinar, Sarah and Thomas explain the key things you need to be aware of when handing back your NHS contract, and how each situation can be sensitively handled, including:

  1. Informing your team of your intentions to reduce or stop delivering NHS dentistry.
  2. Communicating with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) on reducing UDA contracts or handing them back completely
  3. Putting new contracts in place
  4. Moving staff from one premises to another
  5. Making redundancies
  6. Dealing with unhappy team members
  7. The legal process for having incorporated associates
  8. Changing your business structure.

Please note, this webinar was recorded live on Thursday 20th July 2023.
