Watch back the recording of this live webinar with Zoe Close, Sarah Buxton and Stephen Henderson, who discuss tackling one of the major issues plaguing the dental profession and how to armour yourself against it.
About the webinar:
Dentistry can be a stressful profession to work in and with litigation and complaints continuing to rise in dentistry, it’s more important than ever to ensure you’ve got the correct policies, procedures and protection in place for you and your business. When it comes to this topic, the age-old phrase “prevention is better than cure” is certainly true.
The levels of stress felt by the profession were highlighted in recent research by Savanta and Practice Plan which found 49% of dentists are considering leaving the profession before retirement age because “the fear of litigation is too great”*. With that in mind, we’ve brought together some key opinion leaders to find out the key things you should be doing to protect you and your practice.
During this webinar, Zoe Close, Head of Sales at Practice Plan, hosts a discussion on both the clinical and HR aspects of litigation. The expert panel will discuss the key things you need to do to ensure you’re fully prepared for tackling current litigation, and what steps you should take to minimise the threat of future complaints and litigation claims.
Sarah Buxton, HR and Employment Law Solicitor at FTA Law, and Stephen Henderson, Head of Dental at MDDUS, are the two industry experts who will be in conversation with Zoe, sharing their knowledge and expertise, as well as taking questions from the audience on the topic.
Catch-up on this LIVE recorded webinar to find out:
- How you can prevent or minimise the threat of complaints and litigation
- How to ensure you’ve got the correct indemnity cover in place and what should be included
- The first crucial steps the business owner or practice manager should take when you’re first notified of a complaint or possible litigation.
